Overview Join to apply for the Aircraft Mechanic role at U.S. Air Force Reserve . As an Aircraft Fuel Systems specialist, you’ll inspect, repair and install fuel systems to ensure errors are minimal and don’t occur during flight. You’ll perform comprehensive checks on bladder cells and external and integral fuel tanks to ensure aircrew can operate effectively and carry out their objectives. Primary Responsibilities Remove, repair, inspect, install and modify aircraft fuel systems. Clean fuel cells and tanks and inspect for foreign objects, corrosion and cell deterioration. Learn about internal hardware, sealing techniques and materials. Interpret technical concepts and applications of maintenance directives.
